💼 Role Overview
You will serve as the right hand of the Managing Director, helping drive strategic initiatives and develop new opportunities across business, content, technology, and partnerships.
This role requires a big-picture thinker with systems-level understanding, a strong command of digital/AI tools, and a deep appreciation of Jamsai’s mission to create meaningful, lasting impact for our readers.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the MD to analyze, strategize, and develop pathways for sustainable business growth
- Identify and evaluate new opportunities — from market expansion and new target segments to partnership and revenue model innovations
- Use digital tools such as Notion AI, ChatGPT, Looker Studio, and others for data analysis, decision support, and strategic insight
- Design and support cross-functional workflows across editorial, marketing, production, and tech teams
- Lead or co-lead digital transformation projects, especially those involving the adoption of AI
- Represent the MD in select meetings, partner discussions, or strategic negotiations when required
✅ Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in Business Development, Strategic Planning, Innovation, or related fields
- Proven ability to design, lead, and deliver high-impact strategic initiatives
- Hands-on experience with AI or digital productivity tools to improve planning, communication, or decision-making
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly across diverse stakeholders
- Background in content, publishing, education, or creative business is a plus
